Before you install
- 64-bit Windows 10 build 19041 or later, or Windows 11.
- A working Windows playback or capture device for the sources you want to record.
- Microsoft WebView2 for the editing interface. The installer checks for it and can offer installation if it is missing; that prerequisite may need an Internet connection.
- Available disk space and memory for your recording and editing session.

What is free?
The current recorder’s source recording and editing features do not require a paid activation or subscription. Select several available inputs, make the take, adjust the tracks and export the mix.
Device availability depends on hardware and Windows drivers. Device loopback is not per-application capture, and separate hardware inputs are not a claim of sample-accurate studio synchronization.
